I have specialised in sound and music for interactive media professionally for over 17 years. My first full-time game audio job was at NovaLogic, Inc. where I worked on the Delta Force, Comanche and Joint Operations series over the course of 4 years. I handled everything from sound design and implementation, field recording, dialog recording/direction/editing/implementation, and music composition/production. Additionally, I worked with level designers and engineers to both support the games with sound and to find ways to optimize sound integration and playback. I went on to Sony Computer Entertainment America, and over 9 years there worked on many games including flOw, Warhawk, Starhawk, Twisted Metal, SOCOM, God of War and Uncharted. I have also worked at Warner Bros Game Audio., Naughty Dog and Activision.
During childhood I experimented with my parents’ analog cassette recorder, played piano, Telstar pong, Mattel Electronic Football, Atari 2600, and various other instruments. As a young adult, after many years as a touring and recording bass player and electronic musician, I earned a BFA in Music Technology at California Institute of the Arts and I’ve been working in game sound ever since.
